How can I visit my site before or during propagation?

Using the servers IP address. In your setup email some of the settings you will get are similar to this:

» Control Panel Info:

Login Path (Control Panel): http://www.example.com/cpanel/ or https://66.246.44.83:2083/
Username: jamesco
Password: pass3242

» FTP Info:

FTP IP Address: ftp.example.com or 66.246.44.83
Username: jamesco
Password: pass3242

You can temporarily view your web pages by going to:
http://66.246.44.83/~jamesco/

The bolded settings are important. By using these IP addresses to access your hosting services prior to your domain name resolving to us, everything can be setup as you desire and a smooth transition to us can be achieved.
