I just uploaded my site but I only see the old version. What's going wrong?

Assuming that you are uploading to the "public_html" directory, and your DNS settings are correct, it is almost certainly because you are not doing a "hard" refresh. What is happening is that you are seeing your browsers cached version. Try pressing CTRL-F5 on the page to get the latest version of that page.
