FAQ -> How do I get my domain name and web hosting account?
Publishing your website requires that you get both a domain name, and web hosting account, and link the two. Purchasing both your domain name and hosting with Cherry Web Hosting allows us to link them for you - making the process of publishing a site even easier. The first step in ordering is to select the appropriate plan from our web hosting plans, and click the "Order" link.

If you already have a domain name purchased, enter it into the box on the left hand side. In this tutorial we will assume that you do require a domain name from us. In this case we enter it into the box on the right hand side, and do a search to see if it is available for registering. 
Click the thumbnail for a larger view Clicking the "Check domain is available" button starts a search to confirm that you can purchase that domain name. If the domain name is already taken by someone else, you will get a message displayed informing you. Assuming the domain name is available, a link will appear below to allow you to proceed with the order. 
Click the thumbnail for a larger view Now displayed is a form to enter the contact information for your web hosting and domain name accounts. Enter the details into (at least) every field with the red asterisks (*), confirm that you are aware of our terms and conditions, and click the "Order Hosting Package" button to continue. 
Click the thumbnail for a larger view Success! Your domain name and hosting account have now been successfully ordered from us. We now provide the various options regarding payment for the account. Credit cards, money orders, cheques, direct deposits, and international wire transfers are available. As people generally prefer credit cards, click the link to the credit card payment system. 
Click the thumbnail for a larger view You are now displayed a page confirming your order, and providing the option to "Save and Checkout". This is the page of our secure credit card processor 2Checkout.com. Click the Save and Checkout button to continue. 
Click the thumbnail for a larger view The final page in our ordering system asks for your credit card information. Naturally, this page is again highly secured to protect your information by a company processing hundreds of millions of dollars per year. Enter your credit card details as appropriate. The final step is to confirm that you know that your payment to us will appear under the name 2CO.com, as they are handling the actual order payment to us.

Once you get our setup email, it's time to upload your website and publish it to the world.
