How long will it take for my website on your server show up when people enter my domain name?

There is a small delay in either connecting your domain to our hosting in the first place, or moving from your current host. This delay is called propagation time and takes between 24-72 hours from the moment your set your DNS settings.

Setting your DNS settings is the process of "pointing" your domain name to our hosting. It is done through your registrar (the company you bought your domain name from). A tutorial on setting DNS is available to help you with the process.

If after modifying your DNS settings and waiting the 24-72 hours you are still not seeing your site, then we would recommend you first go back to your registrar and check that the settings entered are exactly the same as those sent in our setup email to you. If they are then please contact Cherry and we will attempt to guide you in the right direction.

Please go back to see more Frequently Asked Questions or contact us if you cannot find the answer to your enquiry.
